Our Excursion to Tranby House

On Wednesday 2 November the Year Two classes boarded a bus for a new and exciting adventure! We took a trip back in time to the 1800's and learned so much about how the early settlers came to Western Australia and how hard their lives were. We played a guessing game where we had to imagine what some very strange artifacts were used for and found out that what we thought was a deep fryer was actually a soap saver! Not to mention getting a chamber pot mixed up with a soup bowl! We played some old fashioned games including Toss the Horseshoe, Hopscotch and Tug of War. We had a very informative tour of the house and relaxed by the Swan River to do some sketching. What a wonderful learning experience the day gave us.
